Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Engineer About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Synechron Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality software applications using Java and full stack technologies. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability. * Lead a team of Java developers in creating high-quality software applications. * Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions that meet business requirements. * Integrate GitHub Copilot into the development process, ensuring best practices are followed. * Drive the adoption of software engineering best practices within the team. * Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and make architectural decisions. * Oversee the development process from design to deployment, ensuring adherence to quality standards. * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their applicability to our goals. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Java Developer with a track record of successful leadership and architectural roles. * Strong expertise in Java and its core libraries, with a focus on design patterns, system architecture, and optimization. * Direct experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools and integrating them into the development workflow. * Familiarity with modern architecture styles including microservices and serverless architectures. * Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices patterns. * Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Experience in mentoring and leading development teams through the project lifecycle. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about software system design. Desired Experience: * 8-10+ years of professional experience in Java development and software architecture. * 3+ years in a leadership or team lead position. * Demonstrated experience in AI-assisted coding, particularly with GitHub Copilot, and an understanding of its advantages and limitations in enterprise environments. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
