Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

CHAOS Industries is a leading technology company delivering innovative solutions to the defense and critical industrial sectors. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

  • Design and develop mechanical hardware and systems
  • Rapid prototype solutions using additive manufacturing and machine shops
  • Create and maintain CAD models for production hardware
  • Use FEA and CAD to ensure hardware meets or exceeds internal and customer requirements
  • Participate in design reviews and hardware qualifications
  • Serve as technical interface with vendors and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
  • Experience with designing for manufacturability
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration
  • Experience working with prototyping and machine shop equipment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organization
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
