Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Design and Development

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Hawthorne, NY. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our engineering team and client sites.

Your primary focus will be on designing and developing mechanical systems, including equipment and machinery. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical challenges, and provide improvement ideas to our products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in design, integration, and manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, is required. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of electro-mechanical systems and experience writing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including equipment and machinery
  • Provide technical support and expertise to our engineering team and client sites
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Develop improvement ideas for our products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, integration, and manufacturing
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks
  • Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience writing technical reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in equipment design, including design, machining, and manufacturing
  • Multi-lingual (Spanish, German, French beneficial)
