We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 6-10+ years of experience to join our dynamic MEP firm in the Orlando area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of electrical systems from schematic design through to construction administration using cutting-edge software such as REVIT.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed electrical engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for building systems.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conducting site visits, field assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.
  • Utilizing industry-standard software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools.
  • Staying current with electrical codes and standards to ensure the design meets safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in the design and engineering of electrical building systems.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
  • Proficiency in electrical system design and preparation of construction documents.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC).
  • Experience with a variety of building types, including Commercial, Residential, Public Sector, and Municipal projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
