Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Case Manager to join our team at Mono County, CA. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Department, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing counseling and rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health, child and adult abuse, and/or alcohol and drug issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and rehabilitation services to clients
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate treatment progress
  • Organize and direct special mental health projects
  • Make full use of community resources to support client rehabilitation
  • Act as liaison between professional staff, community organizations, and advisory boards
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, or a related field
  • Upper division college courses in community resources, human services, or behavioral sciences
  • Knowledge of recognized methods of treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues
  • Ability to learn interviewing, counseling, and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and files
