Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Literacy Coach to join our team at Kalamazoo Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instructional support to teachers and students in the area of language arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective literacy instruction
  • Provide coaching and professional development to teachers on best practices in language arts education
  • Assist in the development and implementation of literacy programs and initiatives
  • Support students in developing reading and writing skills
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience in language arts education or coaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
