The Fabrication Helper will also be accountable for completing daily work assignments while ensuring quality, safety, and health regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist production workers with tasks such as prepping material and equipment, cleaning work areas, and grinding steel base frames.
  • Perform general facility cleaning, including custodial duties.
  • Monitor and maintain quality, safety, and health regulations.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Requirements:

  • Basic math and language skills.
  • Experience operating small hand tools and power tools.

Work Environment:

This position operates out of a fabrication facility, with occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme conditions at construction job sites.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with first shift days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.
