Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the City of Pueblo. This role will provide high-level support to the City Council, requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare City Council meetings, including setting up materials and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to City Council members, including drafting correspondence and reports.
  • Manage the budget and financial tasks for the City Council, including tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for office operations, including recommending improvements to workflow and office procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between the City Council, Mayor's Office, and other city departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • At least 60 semester hours of post-high school coursework at an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of professional, progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • A valid driver's license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of employment.
