Job Summary:

LensCrafters is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As a leader in absence of or in support of the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving business results, delivering quality care, and representing LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality and improvement to exceed key performance indicators (KPIs): Comp Sales, % Sales to Plan, Conversion and Customer Count, Comp Growth, Increased Traffic, Store Operating Profitability, Continuity of Care, Exam Growth and Retention Goals, Net Promoter Score, and Current Year Objectives.
  • Support store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
  • Partner with the store manager to lead and develop the team.
  • Deliver clear, constructive, timely feedback and partner with the Store Manager on development.
  • Execute visual directives and maintain store appearance.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with doctors.
  • Promote team compliance to all policies.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language for all written correspondence and oral communication.
  • Strong communicator and listener.
  • Demonstrated high-level of selling skills.
  • Proven ability to problem solve.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in leadership position within retail and customer service industry.
  • Knowledge of basic optics.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
  • Brand Final Inspector Certification.
  • Brand Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.

Compensation:

Pay Range: 17.25 - 29.97. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
