Residential Loan Advisor

Position Overview:

Altabank, a division of Glacier Bank, is seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Originator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support clients in fulfilling their mortgage financing requirements.
• Thoroughly collect borrower information and evaluate the risk profile associated with loan applications.
• Make informed credit decisions in alignment with mortgage lending guidelines.
• Continuously assess and enhance the Bank's risk management strategies.

Candidate Profile:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideal candidates will possess 2-5 years of experience in mortgage origination across various loan types including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loans.
• Must hold and maintain an NMLS ID number (S.A.F.E. Act Registration).

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• In-depth understanding of conventional and government lending guidelines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and robust computer skills.
• Ability to independently generate a significant portion of business without relying on leads.

Be capable of climbing or descending stairs in emergency situations.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and visual inspection involving small defects or parts.
