As a Principal SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in various stages of the consulting lifecycle. Your expertise will be essential in business process consulting, where you will identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement them effectively. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the development, configuration, and deployment of comprehensive solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide project teams on processes and deliverables.
- Contribute to proposal development and client training.
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
- Shape innovative consulting solutions that help clients adapt to the evolving global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience may substitute for each year of education.
- A minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
- U.S. citizens and authorized workers are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 11 years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, including two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FI implementations.
- Hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, CO, including Transfer Pricing and Inter Company Reconciliation.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP areas like OTC and P2P.
- Experience with Activate and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead small teams and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
- Experience in conducting blueprinting workshops independently.
- Hands-on experience with solution architecture and presales is advantageous.
- A willingness to work in a management consulting environment that may require travel.
Work Environment
The role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions is essential. Travel may be necessary based on job requirements.
