Job Summary:

Eaton's Industrial Controls Division is seeking a highly skilled Lead Application Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical application and product support to customers, particularly in the area of variable frequency drives (VFDs).

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. They will be responsible for developing and leading training for our Field Application Engineers, representing the product line at industry conferences, and planning and executing engaging demos to showcase our portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in front-end innovative solutions and help grow and develop assigned product lines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical application and product support to customers, particularly in the area of VFDs

Develop and lead training for Field Application Engineers

Represent the product line at industry conferences

Plan and execute engaging demos to showcase our portfolio

Develop and train TRC (Technical Resource Center) representatives to increase performance and reduce call times

Coordinate and direct the travel of yourself and team members to customer sites to participate in technical investigations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications

Ability to travel up to 25%
