Audiology Technician Opportunity at Charleston ENT & Allergy

We are seeking a part-time Audiology Technician to join our growing audiology department. As an Audiology Technician, you will work under the supervision of our Audiologists to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient insurance and update information in our electronic health record system.
  • Schedule hearing aid appointments and ensure timely follow-up with patients.
  • Perform hearing aid repairs and cleanings, as well as troubleshoot any issues.
  • Execute all paperwork associated with hearing aid purchases, repairs, and returns.
  • Provide orientation education to patients and ensure they understand their hearing aid devices.
  • Stock supplies and report to the director any needs for additional materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including daily equipment wipe-downs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary courses in business, data processing, or medical terminology preferred.
  • At least six months of prior experience in customer service, with a focus on medical office reception.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and navigating electronic health record systems.
