As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with adolescents and their families, guiding them through the challenges they face and helping them build the skills and resilience needed to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to adolescents and their families.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health concerns and promote academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
- Patient, compassionate, and eager to help families.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a counselor or social worker.
- Experience working with adolescents and families in a counseling or therapeutic setting.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
