We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Culinary Professional to join our team at Grace Of Georgia Operations Llc.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a salary of $17 per hour, offering a flexible schedule and paid time off. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals according to menu in a smaller kitchen, operating mostly independently with occasional collaboration with other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing the vision of the Executive Chef by preparing Entrees, soups, and desserts using sound culinary techniques and efficient delivery methods.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Setting up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment, ensuring seamless meal preparation and presentation.
  • Preparing ingredients for use in scratch cooking, including chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, and more.
  • Presenting dishes with fine dining techniques, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Communicating effectively with residents to receive feedback on prepared meals, fostering open dialogue and improving overall dining experience.
  • Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly, adhering to established protocols for storage and disposal.
  • Inspecting the quality of ingredients, maintaining high standards of freshness and quality.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Fine dining experience preferred, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience cooking in a scratch kitchen.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, promoting positive relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Good physical condition and stamina, enabling sustained productivity throughout shifts.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required, with potential opportunities for advancement based on performance.
