Feeding Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Feeding Therapist to join our team at Unified Therapy Services. As a Feeding Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with feeding delays or difficulties.

The Feeding Therapist will provide therapy to help patients achieve feeding goals, conduct screening and assessment activities, and evaluate patients to determine treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy and experience in feeding therapy.

• Provide therapy to help patients achieve feeding goals
• Conduct screening and assessment activities with children with feeding difficulties
• Evaluate patients to determine treatment plans
• Understand and comply with universal precautions, safety, and risk policies and procedures
• Prepare necessary documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and logs, in a timely manner
• Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select treatment programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of individuals and to coordinate comprehensive services delivery
• Utilize and maintain equipment and request supplies as needed
• Maintain positive relationships with the healthcare team, patient, and family

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy
• Certificates, licenses, and registrations, preferred feeding therapy experience
• Current Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy board certification and licensure according to state regulations
• Valid Driver's License

Unified Therapy Services is an outpatient clinic with three locations in Dubuque, Iowa, and one in Lancaster, WI. We offer physical, occupational, behavioral, and speech-language therapy services to adult and pediatric patients in the tristate area.
