We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Monitor and interpret patient data, including vital signs, lab results, and imaging studies, to inform clinical decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care nursing, with a strong background in patient assessment, medication management, and wound care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment or compact required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
