Key Responsibilities:
- Operate our state-of-the-art grooming van, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Deliver professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling based on client preferences and breed standards.
- Prioritize the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions using gentle handling techniques.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of each pet's coat condition and overall health, communicating any concerns to pet owners.
- Advise pet owners on grooming techniques and suitable products for home care.
- Maintain the grooming van's cleanliness and ensure all equipment is sanitized and in good condition.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- A genuine love for animals.
- Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with knowledge of various grooming techniques and breed-specific styles (one year preferred).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work weekends and some holidays as needed.
- Capability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle larger dogs temporarily.
