Acquisition Strategist

SAIC is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support the Space and Intelligence Business Group in our Chantilly, VA office. This group provides specialized engineering, analysis, and operations support to various Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.

• Develop acquisition strategies to enable program development and implementation.
• Work with government technical and contracts staff to develop program acquisition packages.
• Draft contractual documents for government contracts officer review and signature.
• Provide acquisition advisory services during technical and cost evaluations of proposals.
• Support Agile SAFe program development processes and activities.

• Work with technical staff to document technical and programmatic requirements.
• Enter funding information into customer's financial tools.
• Develop acquisition packages in accordance with government acquisition checklists.
• Draft common acquisition artifacts such as statements of work, Contract Data Requirements Lists, In Scope Determinations, and proposal evaluation criteria.
• Provide acquisition advisory services during technical and cost evaluations of proposals.

• Active TS/SCI with Poly.
• Bachelors degree and 9 years related experience or Masters degree and 7 years related experience.
• Acquisition support experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
