:As a Mechanical Design Engineer on our Power2 Engineering Development Program, you will work on various engineering projects that aim to improve the efficiency and reliability of our energy solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while interacting with supervisors and mentors to improve your technical and leadership skills.
- Making a difference in the world by ensuring the availability of electricity, enabling industries to operate, and supporting hospitals and schools.

Required Skills and Qualifications
:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university and at least two years of work experience. Intern and Co-op experience will be considered as part of the required work experience.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that permits them to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S.
- Interest in the energy and/or manufacturing sectors.
- A self-starting attitude with a willingness to seek knowledge outside of the classroom.
- A willingness to relocate to South Boston, VA, where relocation assistance will be provided.
