Job Summary

ECU Health Medical Center is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Inpatient II team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing direct quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Participate in patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Attend educational programs and staff orientation to enhance professional development and leadership skills.
  • Develop leadership roles within the LPN scope of practice, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the Service Excellence Program, upholding the highest standards of patient satisfaction and experience.
Requirements
  • LPN Diploma
  • Active NC LPN License or compact state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice
