Currently Seeking Full-Time and PRN CNAs - All Shifts Open

PRN positions will require availability for overnight shifts and weekends, with an updated competitive pay rate.

Position Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential patient care support, focusing on hygiene, nutrition, mobility, elimination, and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse, adhering to established departmental protocols. You will be responsible for accurate documentation in patient records based on your skill level, following established standards and guidelines.

Upon patient admission, you will:
  • Complete personal belongings documentation
  • Record height, weight, and vital signs
  • Orient new residents to the facility and unit
  • Ensure residents receive identification bands and labeled admission kits
Responding promptly to call lights and resident needs is crucial. You will conduct rounds as assigned, reposition residents every two hours, and accurately take vital signs and weights, reporting findings to the Charge Nurse without delay.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Applying slings, splints, braces, and other devices as per physician or therapy orders
  • Measuring and documenting intake and output accurately
  • Performing procedures and treatments as instructed by the Charge Nurse
  • Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment on the unit
  • Completing job duties through ongoing education and accepting reassignments as needed
Building effective working relationships with team members, Charge Nurse, and department managers is essential. You will maintain confidentiality and provide comprehensive reports to the Charge Nurse at the end of each shift.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred, but not mandatory
  • Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the applicable state
  • CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Experience in long-term care preferred
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Ability to manage time effectively and organize daily tasks
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift heavy objects and assist in patient transfers
  • Manual dexterity and coordination for patient care tasks
  • Visual acuity to distinguish colors and perform necessary documentation
