Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing processes and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in leading and supervising work groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance costs, planning, and reporting
  • Design, install, and automate vendor equipment and systems
  • Establish operation parameters for PLCs, sensors, and automation systems
  • Train on operations and maintenance systems
  • Manage maintenance of facilities systems, including spare parts inventories and retrofitting
  • Assist with SAP Maintenance Module planning and continuous improvement
  • Develop maintenance strategies to improve productivity, reliability, and safety
  • Manage maintenance crew in troubleshooting equipment and systems
  • Oversight of external contractors and internal resources during project implementation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years minimum of experience in manufacturing facility/maintenance engineering
  • Experience in leading and supervising work groups
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Auto-CAD, and Autodesk Inventor
  • Knowledge of hi-temp processing equipment, web converting, and milling equipment
  • Hands-on management and process engineering experience
  • Six Sigma methodology, Lean Manufacturing, and QS/ISO quality systems experience
