About the Role:

As a Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist at Sonova AG, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. This includes the Controlled Environment Rooms/Areas (CER/A), gowning areas, laboratories, warehouses, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, and other areas of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks, adhering to CER quality and safety procedures.
  • Clean floors, surfaces, walls, doors, and windows, as well as office and other areas.
  • Empty trash containers, resupply products in kitchen areas/cafeterias, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Fill in cleaning/maintenance/environmental logs and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all gowning and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
  • Learn relevant company policies and operating procedures, and participate in ongoing training as required.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • More than 1 year of previous facilities/industrial cleaning experience
  • Cleanroom/medical/controlled environment experience is a plus
Working Conditions:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to climb, work overhead, and reach with hands and arms
  • Lift weight up to 20 kg / 45 lbs
  • Good close vision and color vision
Language:

  • Ability to read procedures, write, and understand English

Starting Pay:

$19.00/hr. This role is also bonus eligible.
