Key Responsibilities

- Clearly articulates diagnosed issues to customers in an understandable manner, presenting options when feasible. Discusses the advantages and features of each proposed solution. Secures customer approval prior to commencing work.

- Unclogs both commercial and residential drainage systems in accordance with plumbing standards and regulations.

- Cleans drains in residential and commercial properties utilizing cable systems or high-pressure water jetting techniques on main and secondary drains. Conducts pipe inspections using camera technology.

- Unclogs various plumbing fixtures including sewers, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, and toilets using plumbing snakes and specialized machinery.

- Maintains and refuels service vehicles, ensuring that the service truck is adequately stocked with necessary parts and tools, while also keeping machinery in good working order.

- Transports materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring proper accountability for tools.

- Completes all required service documentation and may handle the collection, recording, and delivery of fees to the office.

- Demonstrates proficiency in performing basic drain cleaning tasks using a range of drain cleaning machines.

- Possesses foundational knowledge of plumbing systems.

- Capable of removing and reinstalling toilets and p-traps.

Qualifications

A High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred. Relevant experience and/or advanced training, or a combination of education and experience, may be considered. Basic plumbing skills are essential. Familiarity with local and national plumbing codes is advantageous. A valid driver's license and effective communication skills are mandatory.
