Job Summary

As a CAD Design Specialist at Elevation Land Solutions, you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings of engineering designs with some supervision for land development projects. You will work in adherence with company and jurisdictional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately complete CAD drawings using firm standards.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with engineers and CAD technicians in the conduct of project activities.
  • Accurately complete improvement construction plans: grading, utility, paving, drainage.
  • Complete drawing preparation in allotted timeframe.
  • Keep supervisor informed of work load and any changes in project scope or additional services.
  • Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
  • Follow quality assurance/quality control processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AutoCAD Certification preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or technical experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to make independent decisions within a general framework.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office software.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Ability to follow directions and learn quickly.

This is a normal office environment position.
