We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting the manager with daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the manager in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and service administration.
- Assist with the coordination of communication and staff meetings to promote dialogue and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as hospital policies and regulations.
- Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insight into patient care and department operations.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers and assist in identifying expected outcomes.
- Perform nursing care, assist with treatments, therapies, and procedures, and administer medications as necessary.
- Coordinate management of patient flow and staffing through continuous assessment of volume and acuity needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience, with previous management experience preferred.
- A BSN degree, with RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without a BSN enrolled in a BSN program within one year of hire/transfer date and completing the program within three years of enrollment.
- Appropriate professional certification, such as BLS, within one year of eligibility for the certification exam.
