Job Summary

PAM Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the RN and physician.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/caregiver teaching for care after discharge.
  • Accurately record vital signs, intake and output, and other physical observations on the appropriate worksheets.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
