Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at ProgressiveHealth Rehabilitation, Inc. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, assessing patients' conditions and providing appropriate care.
  • Administer first aid and advanced life support as needed, following local and site protocols.
  • Document medical care provided to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory, maintain, and clean medical supplies and equipment.
  • Assist medical clinic staff with patient needs as requested.
  • Perform surveillance and random drug screens as needed.
Requirements
  • State licensure, certification, and registration as an EMT in good standing.
  • CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
  • ACLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry 60lbs for at least 100 feet.
  • High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Confidentiality and basic computer skills.
