Youth Care Nurse

Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Youth Care Nurse (LPN) with TAG MedStaffing, you will provide direct care to youth in Out of Home (OOH) settings. Your role will involve supporting their well-being, promoting health, hygiene, and trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and assess physical conditions to integrate findings into treatment plans.
- Assist youth with daily living activities (ADLs) and accompany them to medical appointments.
- Educate youth and staff on health, hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including medication administration reports and progress notes.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in New Jersey.
- 1 year of experience working with ID/DD youth.
- Basic computer literacy, excellent communication and judgment skills.
- Valid NJ Driver's License with clean driving record.
