Qualifications: Candidates should possess a master's degree in science education or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience teaching early childhood science. A solid understanding of inquiry-based science instruction is essential, while experience in gifted education is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with adaptability, are also required.

Key Responsibilities: The Lower School Science Educator will:

  • Deliver engaging whole-class and small-group inquiry-based science instruction in a laboratory setting.
  • Collaborate with grade-level educators to create developmentally appropriate science curricula tailored to the needs of advanced learners.
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, professional development, and design initiatives to enhance student learning.
  • Engage in faculty, departmental, and grade-level meetings, supervise students during various activities, and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Employment Type: This is a full-time position.
