Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Trial Attorney to become part of our growing legal team. This role presents a unique chance to engage with a diverse range of complex cases, such as medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation. As a trial attorney, you will be tasked with representing clients in court, managing caseloads, formulating strategies, and advising clients on their legal rights. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and are eager to elevate their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients in court or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
2. Conduct thorough research, interview clients and witnesses, and manage all preparatory details for trial.
3. Draft legal briefs, motions, and other necessary pleadings in compliance with court regulations.
4. Develop litigation strategies, negotiate with opposing counsel, and provide clients with informed legal advice.
5. Handle a variety of intricate cases including medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
6. Oversee all phases of litigation from investigation and pleadings to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeals.
7. Offer expert legal support and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar.
3. At least 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, specifically in medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
4. Proven history of securing favorable verdicts in court.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
6. Strong research and report writing capabilities.
7. Ability to manage a high caseload and meet the demands of the role.
8. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficient in legal research software and MS Office.
