Job Summary

This position is responsible for operating the processing system, CIP system, and giving work direction to other processors. The Lead Person Nights will assist the shift supervisor in managing the processing department.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the UHT processing system, CIP system, and record time, temperature, pressure, and flow rates as required by the company.
Detect and report or act upon any system abnormalities to reduce the risk of damage to the system or product.
Coordinate with the packaging lead person to ensure timely hook up and start up of production lines.
Direct processing personnel in sanitation, CIP receiving and transferring of eggs, and GMP activities.
Prepare written reports and maintain assigned logs, records, and other documentation required by the company and USDA.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors, or employees of the organization in English.

4X3 Schedule (2,2,3).
