Job Title: Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for visual merchandising and store appearance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support store operations.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management activities to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
