Job Summary:

The Information Sharing Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing information sharing systems and tools to support CENTCOM HQ and theater components.

This includes designing and integrating objective systems architecture and intelligence applications, gathering and tracking information sharing requirements, and monitoring the development and/or implementation of tools supporting information sharing.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience working in the Department of Defense (DOD) Intelligence Community and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in data/knowledge management, five (5) years software development experience, two (2) years of experience working for the US Central Command (USCENTCOM), and one (1) year in a Systems Engineering Task Assistance (SETA) position.

Prior staff officer service and field experience in the USCENTCOM AOR is also required. The successful candidate will have hands-on working knowledge of DOD and IC information sharing tools, cloud computing, and implementation within the DODIIS environment.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • USCENTCOM HQ, MacDill AFB, Florida.
