Position Overview

The Lead Implementation Engineer plays a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of American Cybersystems' Safety Software and Infusion product line, collaborating with approved third-party vendors. This position also encompasses the integration with clients' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Technical Expertise Required: A solid technical foundation in IT-related technologies is essential, including Cloud solutions, data center operations, and on-premise installations at client facilities.

The role demands proficiency in both Windows and Linux Server environments, alongside experience in SQL database management, networking (LAN and WAN), and a comprehensive understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and digital certificate administration.

Moreover, the candidate must be adept at adhering to quality system processes, such as HITRUST and/or ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement American Cybersystems IT solutions, focusing on planning, installation, and quality assurance testing.
  • Conduct advanced configurations of installed solutions to ensure compatibility with other approved third-party vendors.
  • Uphold quality standards established by American Cybersystems, including HITRUST or ISO.
  • Collaborate effectively with client project teams to facilitate planning, implementation, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive implementation and support documentation as outlined in the Service Design Plan.
  • Participate in after-hours customer support, including an on-call rotation, weekend maintenance, and other IT-related tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that are reasonably related to the position.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling professional interaction with a diverse range of clients, staff, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented approach to job functions, ensuring thorough documentation of each installation.
  • Proven experience in time management and task management, adhering to Project Management methodologies over extended periods.
  • Familiarity with HITRUST or other quality system methodologies and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of server hardware architecture, including virtual and physical servers, cloud, or data center environments.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Windows and Linux Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and other SQL database solutions, including administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Domain/Active Directory concepts and theory.
  • Advanced skills in TCP/IP Networking in both wired and wireless settings, along with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Expertise in evaluating and diagnosing root cause issues through log files or other interoperability messaging.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a High School diploma with equivalent college education and experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT server and system installation and configuration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • Must meet credentialing requirements for access to client facilities.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
  • This is a remote position.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Ability to travel as necessary (including air and ground transportation to client locations).
  • Capability to work in both standing and seated positions for extended periods.
