As an Environmental Services Specialist, your primary role will be to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, safeguarding individuals from potential health risks.

Your success in this position will stem from your attention to detail and dedication to safety protocols.

Your daily tasks will include routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, as well as utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to ensure thorough sanitation.

You will be trained in the proper disposal methods for biohazard materials, including hazardous waste.

Additionally, you will become proficient in using disinfecting agents and learn specific cleaning procedures for various areas and equipment.

Responsibilities also include restocking supplies in patient rooms and common areas, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.

Key tasks include:

  • Performing routine cleaning and organizing in designated areas.
  • Sanitizing various hospital sections using approved methods and tools.
  • Following specific protocols for cleaning patient rooms, emergency areas, and surgical suites.
  • Restocking essential supplies in all relevant locations.
  • Adhering to safe disposal practices for all medical waste.

Maintain a courteous and professional attitude in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.



Qualifications:

Preferred:
Six months of relevant experience

High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
