At Classic Automation, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to work with factory automation equipment and contribute to the growth of our rapidly expanding company.



About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of programmable logic controllers, operator display panels, power supplies, and other related equipment. Your expertise in component-level troubleshooting and repair will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' industrial automation systems.



Key Responsibilities


  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repairs without the aid of schematics.
  • Document all troubleshooting and repair work in a clear, concise, and detailed manner.
  • Manage your personal repair queue and complete repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with our test department to identify faulty components.
  • Operate test equipment such as DMM, Huntron, and oscilloscope.
  • Prepare and edit test records and repair reports.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of industrial automation systems and a strong technical background. A minimum of one to two years of experience in a related field, along with a relevant associate degree or equivalent, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer knowledge is also necessary.
