As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial analysis, risk assessment, and reporting services. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that enhance their financial operations.
Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth reviews of financial statements, accounting processes, and internal controls within federal entities.
- Provide expert guidance on financial operations, supply chain management, project finance, and acquisition strategies.
- Prepare clear and concise reports that analyze financial trends, identify variances, and offer actionable recommendations to clients.
- Support audit readiness initiatives by assisting with remediation efforts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, SFFAS, OMB policies).
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex financial challenges and contribute to the success of client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM, or CDFM.
- Minimum of three years of progressive experience supporting audit response, financial analysis, internal controls, and accounting within federal government agencies or large organizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is preferred but not required. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret level clearance.
