Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group in analyzing financial results, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. This individual will utilize strong business acumen and a dynamic personality to interact with management and business teams on multiple projects to drive performance and support company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the monthly close process, including variance analysis and the creation and distribution of monthly reporting packages.
  • Complete monthly analysis of financial statements and company performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategy initiatives and special projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide metrics and KPIs that improve the key drivers of operations and enable effective management, decision-making, and execution.
  • Compile and analyze financial information using various reporting tools.
  • Analyze reports and accounts to ensure financial information has been accurately recorded.
  • Identify trends and developments in business performance and report them to management.
  • Support Business Unit leaders in establishing performance-related metrics.
  • Establish and foster collaborative relationships across all levels to provide a high level of service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience with progressive growth or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis and business modeling.
  • Strong data analytical skills, high attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy.
Computer Skills:
  • Advanced computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, with advanced skills and expertise in Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis in financial planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Power BI).
