We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at JobRialto. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, and improve their physical function and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs through medical history reviews, physical examinations, and specialized assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient-specific goals and medical conditions, addressing their rehabilitation needs.
- Utilize techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and specialized equipment to improve mobility and function.
- Design customized exercise programs to enhance strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and coordination, while educating patients on proper techniques.
- Perform joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and manipulation to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Recommend and assist patients with mobility aids such as crutches, canes, walkers, and orthotic devices.
- Educate patients on their condition, the rehabilitation process, and injury prevention strategies, promoting long-term health and wellness.
- Implement pain management techniques, including heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and muscle relaxation methods.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention exercises and techniques, especially for athletes and individuals at high risk for injuries.
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports for comprehensive care and compliance with insurance and legal standards.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy through research and continuing education to provide evidence-based treatments.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing insurance claims, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Physical therapists can work in a range of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, sports facilities, schools, and home healthcare environments.
