Your responsibilities will encompass both clinical and administrative support to physicians and licensed personnel, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and document vital signs, promptly identifying and reporting any irregularities to the appropriate medical staff.
- Facilitate patient arrivals and manage appointment scheduling, ensuring a smooth transition for patients throughout their visit.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
- Exhibit proficiency in the use of clinical equipment, including preparation, safety checks, and proper sanitation procedures.
- Maintain an organized supply of linens and medical materials, ensuring exam rooms are adequately stocked.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, adhering to all safety and procedural guidelines.
- Document patient interactions and medical records in compliance with departmental standards.
- Navigate electronic health records to retrieve necessary medical information and update patient data.
- Prepare safety reports as needed and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Address patient and coworker concerns with a calm and constructive approach, reporting any issues to management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe clinic environment.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Work Schedule: Day shifts available.
