Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical assets of our properties are well-maintained, safe, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, and preventive maintenance projects
  • Use service request systems to schedule and establish priorities
  • Repair/replace apartment materials/maintenance requests within scope of management responsibility
  • Monitor completion of service requests while limiting callbacks and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 6-12 months general maintenance and safety experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance and repair, preventative maintenance programs, irrigation, and pool systems
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm, with some overtime required. Rotating on-call responsibilities as needed.

Physical Requirements/Environment

The position requires regular sitting or standing, full range of motion, and use of various equipment and small hand tools. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
