Job Summary

This is a skilled position dealing with the maintenance of all plant equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain plant equipment to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and repair of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Work with plumbing and other functions of the plants to ensure smooth operation.
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed to support maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet fleet safety program requirements.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
  • May require sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hold weights of 5-10lbs in a stretched arm position for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs (minimum) on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
