We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Aerotek. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain offices, hallways, and other assigned common areas.
- Waste Management: Remove municipal and medical waste (including recyclable materials) from accumulation areas and deliver to the appropriate disposal containers.
- Supply Management: Order, receive, restock, and maintain supplies for daily use in the work area.
- Emergency Response: Respond and take action in all emergency situations involving floods and spills.
- Isolation Procedures: Perform isolation procedures and other related duties as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power and manual floor cleaning equipment following established departmental procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment used in daily operation.
- Experience: 1+ years of custodial experience.
- Safety and Effectiveness: Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to problem-solve and understand and explain job expectations and duties.
- Communication: Exhibit a kind and friendly manner in communication with others and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
