- This position is intended for building connections with qualified professionals for potential future roles within the FFI Advisory team.

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed cryptocurrency tracing utilizing various blockchain analysis tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, CipherTrace, Elementus) to assess transaction data and uncover relationships between digital wallets and real-world identities.
- Aid investigations by tracing the flow of funds, identifying unique transaction patterns, and establishing connections between transfers, individuals, and digital assets.
- Support the development and delivery of training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding of digital asset usage in illicit activities and recognize crypto-related crime indicators.
- Collaborate with senior personnel to foster relationships with existing clients.
- Draft and prepare client communications for senior management review, both in written and verbal formats.
Qualifications :
- Must possess an ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least ONE (1) year of relevant experience in cybercrime and/or cryptocurrency is necessary.
- Extensive experience in cryptocurrency tracing using blockchain tools to de-anonymize addresses and reveal interconnected wallets and identities.
- Proficient in utilizing open-source research, social media, commercial and government databases, and intelligence resources to identify individuals/entities and support asset tracing.
- Ability to work full-time at the client site.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications in cryptocurrency-related fields.
- CFE, CPA, and/or CAMS certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in cryptocurrency tracing for law enforcement, including address attribution and identification of suspects.
- Familiarity with advanced obfuscation techniques in cryptocurrency transactions.
- Experience in drafting or reviewing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Knowledge of the law enforcement investigative process and subpoena utilization in cryptocurrency cases.
- Experience with data visualization tools for pattern recognition.
- Understanding of metadata and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for geographic intelligence.
