About the Job:

Titan Medical Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Newark, NJ. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Current BCLS/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
