Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team at Carter Lumber. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct the workflow of shipping and receiving materials, including pulling stock and custom materials according to orders and staging them until the orders are complete and ready to be shipped.
  • Assist with inventory management and report shortages to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Verify incoming orders for accuracy and ensure they are properly stored in designated areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, banding machines, and other equipment to efficiently manage warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30am-5pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $15-$18.
