Job Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine in Worcester, MA.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient information and nursing care in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
  • CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment.
