Job Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Hospital for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our inpatient behavioral health unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient information and nursing care in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
  • CPR certification and successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment.
